NYS HCR launches new Supplier Diversity Solution, powered by AXI
New York State Homes & Community Renewal has selected AXI to deliver its next-generation supplier diversity portfolio management and compliance solution, replacing legacy systems with a single shared workspace.
New York State Homes & Community Renewal (HCR) has selected AXI to deliver the agency's next-generation supplier diversity portfolio management and compliance solution. The new system will replace HCR's legacy tools and provide a single, shared workspace for analysts, developers, contractors, and administrators to manage developments and contracts across the agency's funded portfolio.
The platform supports HCR's Department of Empowerment, Compliance & Opportunity (DECO) across the full compliance lifecycle — from MWBE and SDVOB goal setting through certified firm identification, good faith efforts outreach, utilization reporting, workforce participation, and waiver submission.
One workspace for analysts, developers, and contractors
The HCR Supplier Diversity Compliance Portal — powered by AXI — handles the paperwork that has historically consumed analyst time, while preserving DECO's review authority and the agency's reporting obligations under NYS Executive Law Article 15-A and Veterans' Services Law Article 3.
Developers and contractors working on HCR-funded projects access the same workspace as HCR analysts, eliminating duplicate data entry, lost email threads, and reconciliation between disparate spreadsheets. Public utilization plans and waiver postings under Article 15-A §311.3(K) are published from the same system that generates them.
"HCR leadership or DECO quote on the launch, to be added."
Account requests for developers, primes, subcontractors, and consultants on HCR-funded projects are handled through the new portal at hcr.axisystem.com.
