AXI's third-generation Waiver Wizard cuts processing time by 90%+

An online form, embedded good faith efforts analysis tools, and clear submission rules replace email-and-zip-file workflows — most waiver packages now move from days to hours.

AXI has launched the third generation of its waiver processing module. The new Waiver Wizard consists of a single online form with embedded good faith efforts analysis tools and clear submission rules that ensure each waiver package is complete on the first try.

The system organizes every piece of information provided into a clean, easy-to-review format and validates that all required elements are present before submission is permitted.

The Waiver Wizard — Sample Construction 1 / MWBE Waiver Application — guides contractors through project, primary contact, applicant, and good faith efforts entry, validating completeness before submission.

A seamless replacement for messy email workflows

For most agencies and authorities, the historical waiver process involves zip folders containing dozens — sometimes hundreds — of disparate email attachments, often with critical pieces missing. The Waiver Wizard replaces that workflow end-to-end. In most cases, processing time drops by more than 90 percent.

The Wizard makes it straightforward to assess whether genuine good faith efforts have been met, and it helps reviewers identify cases of insufficient efforts before they reach a formal decision. Because the Wizard is integrated with the rest of the AXI platform, identifying additional certified partners for further GFE outreach is a single-click action.

To date, AXI has facilitated the processing and approval of over 450 waivers across its client portfolio. The third-generation Wizard is available to all enterprise clients and is included in the standard platform license.
