What you’ll do

  • Own a portfolio of public authority, university, and contractor accounts; operate as their day‑to‑day MWBE‑SDVOB Program Coordinator.
  • Set project goals on the NYSCS, run GFE outreach, manage utilization reporting, and prepare waiver packages (PROC‑3) the Executive Chamber will approve.
  • Maintain a perfect quarterly reporting cadence — portfolio reconciliation, payment validation, PO/PCard scrubbing under the SUNY Volume 6 Guidance Bulletin.
  • Stay current on Article 15‑A, NYCRR - 141, and DMWBD Operations Primer updates; translate them into AXI configuration changes with the product team.
  • Be the human at the other end of the phone for customer coordinators 24/7 during waiver deadlines and audits.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of MWBE / SDVOB / DBE compliance experience, ideally inside a NYS authority, agency, or university.
  • Fluent in NYSCS, the certified firm directory, and the -15‑A goal/exemption/exclusion framework.
  • Track record on waiver packages — and audits that closed without findings.
  • Comfortable with software: AXI replaces spreadsheets, not augments them.

Nice to have

  • Prior work with DASNY, NYS HCR, SUNY System Administration, or NYPA on -15‑A reporting.
  • Experience training compliance officers and program coordinators across a customer base.
  • Familiarity with state programs outside NY (CT CHRO, NJ ETU, etc).

Compensation & benefits
