AXI supports MBDI engagement for NYPA Small Business Capacity Program
AXI helped the Minority Business Development Institute conduct outreach for the New York Power Authority's Small Business Capacity program. More than 40 firms joined this year's cohort.
AXI partnered with the Minority Business Development Institute (MBDI) to support outreach efforts for the New York Power Authority (NYPA) Small Business Capacity program. The program helps New York State small businesses build the capacity to compete for and win contracting work with NYPA and other public-sector buyers.
With AXI's support, MBDI and NYPA enrolled more than 40 firms in this year's cohort.
Capacity building, at scale
Capacity-building programs depend on reaching the right certified firms with the right invitation at the right time. AXI's outreach tools provided MBDI with a structured way to identify candidate firms by industry and geography, deliver tailored invitations, track responses, and document outreach for program reporting.
AXI continues to support program partners across New York State in expanding access to public-sector contracting.
